Mid-year scholarship round

The Research Graduate School Committee expects to offer a small number of stipend scholarships and tuition awards each year in a mid-year scholarship selection round. The number of scholarships that will be offered will depend on the final take up rate of by the 2009 awardees.

Please note that the mid-year scholarship round operates by faculty nomination rather than by direct application. Faculties will be notified in late April/early May regarding mid-year scholarship nomination procedures. Faculties are generally given until the end of June to finalise and submit nominations. Each faculty is required to set an earlier closing date for receipt of nominations by academic units.

Students wishing to be nominated for a mid-year scholarship are encouraged to contact the relevant academic unit.  

Academic units will need to contact the faculty for details regarding nomination procedures and faculty closing dates.
