    2010 RE-ENROLMENT VIA WES

    12 OCTOBER 2009 to 23 NOVEMBER 2009


    As a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidate you are required to re-enrol for 2010 if you:
    * will be continuing a program of study in 2010,
    * are currently on intermission but will return to study in 2010, or
    * will not be submitting a thesis before 22 December 2009
    Please note that as a research student you are enrolled from 1 January to 31 December of each year.

    RE-ENROLMENT PERIODS


    • 12 OCTOBER 2009 to 23 NOVEMBER 2009
    • 24 NOVEMBER to 18 DECEMBER 2009 – LATE RE-ENROLMENT, $250 FINE APPLIES
    • POST 18 DECEMBER 2009 – LATE RE-ENROLMENT, $250 FINE APPLIES

    Post 18 December 2009 re-enrolments: PhD and MPhils contact the Monash Research Graduate School (MRGS). Research masters and professional doctorates contact your faculty research office. Please note that your scholarship may be suspended and you will be liable for the late re-enrolment fine of $250.

    Do not leave your re-enrolment to the 23 November 2009 as WES-access problems will not result in the waiving of the late fine.

    ACTION REQUIRED TO RE-ENROL


    1. Go to WES https://my.monash.edu.au/wes/ and log on with your student authcate username and password (see bottom of page for information on student email accounts).
    2. Click on ‘I would like to re-enrol in my Research for 2010’ button for your re-enrolment to be processed.
    3. Successful re-enrolment will result in a transaction number commencing with ‘U’ being displayed on screen and emailed to your Monash student email account. If you do not receive a transaction number your re-enrolment has not been successful.

    PROBLEMS RE-ENROLLING


    * If you have not registered for your Monash student authcate account go to http://www.monash.edu.au/students/computer/ and select ‘register for the new account’.

    * If you have problems with your login and password, contact the student ITS HelpDesk on +61 3 9903 2777 or http://www.monash.edu.au/students/computer.

    * If you require assistance using WES, download the WES instruction guide from http://www.adm.monash.edu.au/enrolments/re-enrolments/.

    The university sends all official emails to student email accounts only. You can access your student email at https://mail.monash.edu.au or via my.monash portal https://my.monash.edu.au/. Students who prefer to use a private or Monash staff email accounts are required to forward their Monash University student email to these accounts.
