Extensions to scholarship and variations to candidature
A request for an extension to scholarship by doctoral / professional doctorate candidates must be made at least six weeks prior to the current end-date of the scholarship.
Please complete a standard form from the Monash Research Graduate School:
Please remember that all requests for changes to the status of your scholarship or doctoral / MPhil candidature (for example, study away, extension / suspension of scholarship, extension / intermission of candidature, transfer to part-time / full-time candidature, supervisor change, or writing-up away) require approval from the Research Graduate School Committee.
Masters by research candidates
Masters by research candidates are not eligible to apply for scholarship extensions. The maximum tenure of scholarship is two years.
Applications for variations to masters candidature (with the exception of MPhil) should be processed through the candidate's faculty research office.
