    MPA Supervisor of the Year Award for 2008

    The Monash Research Graduate School congratulates Professor Rod Devenish who was recently awarded the Monash Postgraduate Association Supervisor of the Year Award for 2008.

    Each year the Monash Postgraduate Association asks postgraduate students to nominate an academic whom they believe has made an outstanding contribution in the area of postgraduate supervision. Twenty-five supervisors were nominated for the award this year and the selection panel concluded that the enthusiastic case made by Professor Devenish's students in his Biochemistry and Microbiology lab warranted this prestigious award.

    Professor Devenish is also Deputy Director of the Monash Research Graduate School.
