Commercialisation Training Scheme (CTS)

Purpose of the Scheme

The Australian Government has announced that approximately 250 new awards will be created Australia-wide to help higher degree by research students develop research commercialisation and intellectual property management skills.Monash University will participate in this program.

The intended outcomes of the Commercialisation Training Scheme (CTS) are to:

• Enable Australia’s next generation of researchers to better understand the commercial potential of research and better plan research activities in order to achieve commercial benefit
  


• Enhance the career outcomes of HDR students
  


• Provide a more highly skilled and valued research workforce for employers
  


• Generate flow-on benefits to the broader Australian community through the enhanced delivery of innovative research-based products and services.
